Kura Sushi Ikebukuro East

I went here looking for a casual night out with my family for what I thought would be a nice night out. The food was mediocre at best but that's not the reason I'm reviewing, I was absolutely disgusted after seeing on of the staff spit on my food for actually no reason, I was trying to be nice as po...ssible about it but ended up leaving with my family after this atrocious act.

This place is a must if you are visiting Japan! The experience that you get is unbelivable and super enjoyable. Food is super tasty and would definetley recommend.

Great experience. Easy access, great availability, clean and fun with the interactive game! Had both sushi and other dishes, all were very good! Will defiantly go back again!

Well priced sushi restaurant frequented by locals. Good number of gluten free options available, recommend you download the English language allergen menu before you go and arrive an hour earlier than you want to eat in the evening as it’s popular even on weekdays! You order from an iPad at your tab...le and can change the language to English!

The 90-minute wait was worthwhile. Before being told of your table number, all diners are first taught by the counter staff how to open the lid of the sushi plater on the conveyor belt. My family enjoyed every plate of sushi, especially seeing special orders being sent to our table via the fast-pace...d belt. Every 5 empty plates dropped into the return tray (underneath the conveyor belt) entitles the diner to play an game. We won a gashapon (capsule toy) ! Cheap and good sushi (JPY4784 for 35 plates of sushi) in a relaxing ambience.
