The English name is the Pantry. I initially thought that this was just another sandwich cafe in Tokyo. I was wrong. I love their vegetarian sandwich selections & keep coming back to the place. My favorite are veggie wrap, mushroom & falafel sandwiches. There are selections of bread too, opt for whe...at bread as it tastes better.

If your soul food is sandwiches and burgers, and you're starved for a non-fusion, uncomplicated, "my-mum-makes-these-kinda-sandwiches' type of bread cuisine, then check out The Pantry in Marunouchi, Tokyo. Located not so far from Tokyo Station and close to Yurakucho International Forum Exit, this au...thentic cafe/restaurant offers a good variety of American-style burgers, sandwiches and salad. I discovered this place a few years back, and have been their with my friends and my partner on many occasions. All of us (Americans, Europeans and Indians) agreed that The Pantry was a place worth visiting at least once. I especially recommend vegetarian sandwiches if you're not so much into meat. Last time I tried one of their Seasonal Special sandwiches: RED BELL PEPPER, ZUCCHINI, DRIED TOMATO & ORIGINAL SAUCE Most of the sandwiches and burgers come with some Potato fries on the side, and there's a decent selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including some imported beer brands. A quick service, hospitable staff make it even better. The staff here speaks good English and are friendly. The prices are reasonable, although the they could've been a bit cheaper and portions could be bigger. In short, a great place for sandwiches, burgers and a good chat with your friends.
