“A Happy Surprise”
After a morning at the nearby Institution for Nature Study, we happened upon La Goccia. A happy surprise. Very good quality set meals, a nice wine and great service.

“Nice Lunch”
Wife and I dined here for lunch they had a nice combo, that included salad, bread, pasta of choice and desert. Pleasant setting Water did speak some English which was nice so he explained everything.

“Average and not many options”
Dined here late one night and we found the menu hard to understand (English menu) and not very many options available. Definitely not very Italian either. Was not expensive.

“Good italian”
I took spagettis with fresh porcinis. It was excellent. Pasta was well cooked like in Italy and porcinis smelled like hell.

“Amazing Wagyu in a delightful Italian Restaurant”
This gem of a restaurant is very close to my house; otherwise, I may have never discovered its existence. I went in not knowing what to expect when wandering around the neighborhood one afternoon. I was enticed by a picture of a steak and the only English on their set course lunch sign A4/A5. I went... in and in my extremely limited Japanese worked out what I wanted with the waiter who was extremely nice, and could speak a little more English than I could Japanese. It was fun. I had an antipasto starter with several small dishes all good (seafood, grilled veggies, bread, small salad). Next was a penne arrabbiata, it was delicious, the pasta cooked al dente and plenty of extra grated (at the table) legit Parmigiano Reggiano. Then the steak OMG Incredible. Excellent quality and an ample portion for lunch. I order it medium when I go now as medium rare was not quite enough to properly rend the fat. However, when it comes to steak, just like haircuts you can't undo it. Following was desert (choice of three) and coffee or tea. I'm not big into dessert; but, it was good. Overall, great experience. I forgot to mention, ALL OF THIS WAS UNDER ¥50,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In Tokyo, I've never found a value like this. Amazing wine list. Compulsory draft beer. Very good wines by the glass. I have eaten dinner as well, equally excellent with more choices.. Appetizers, Pasta, Steak Cuts/Sizes. Enjoy. I repeat frequently. Closed Mondays, Cash Only!
