“Inexpensive, but not that Special From what I remember”
Apparently, Torikizoku is a really popular chain all over Japan—to the point that many of my foreign friends and friends who live in Japan heavily recommended it. Having said that, I found the yakitori kind of hit or miss depending on the order. The "spice" one (just black pepper, NOT hot/spicy) o...n the chicken thighs was by far my favorite from what I remember here. It had the most taste in addition to juicy chicken thighs. The standard salt and tare sauce yakitori were also fine, but they weren't particularly tasty, fresh, or juicy compared to some of the best yakitori I've tried from other places. I think some people say it's good because it's relatively inexpensive, but I don't know. At least from the few orders I tried, it was fine but not somewhere I'm going to rush back to again. I did like that there was tablet ordering. That makes things a lot more convenient for someone who likes to order at their own pace.

“Cheap but delicious!”
We were staying in the nearby area and the hosts recommended this place for a cheap but satisfying meal. A great selection of dishes at the same price of 280 yen. Between the 2 of us we ordered 6 dishes and 2 large beers. Service was friendly and efficient but the food was delicious! Quite a trendy ...chain that doesn't pretend to be anything fancy. Well worth tracking down if you want to experience local Japanese "fast food".
