“What I've got after spent 120000 Yen (1100 USD)????”

It's a Michelin recommended restaurant, so we spend 120000 yen (around 1100USD) ate 2 golden crab (very rare species), frankly, the taste of the crab is very normal. And the restaurant environment is poor. After dinner, both I and my husband got diarrhea. That's what we got after spent so much mo...ney! I will not recommend anyone to this restaurant!!!!

“Fantastic king crab”

Reviewed 10/Sep/2019

We went to this restaurant after Reading about it online in the Michelin guide. The booking was made by email and we had to book the menu up front and went for the Red King crab course. The crab is alive and if you want to you can hold it before it`s cooked in front of you in a private room. You ...get you own private chef that cooks each part in a different way, it tastes really good and both the waitress and the chef was really nice and smiling all the time. It is quite expensive here and you can expect around 60 000JPY for two persons including drinks.

“truly another 'wow' gem of Tokyo/Japan!”

Reviewed 02/Jun/2019

It took several weeks to get the reservation we wanted, now I see why. We got a 5pm seating, which was not bad at all- as it turned out. The price takes the breath away, and it is by far the most expensive restaurant I have eaten in while in Tokyo the past 4+ years, but it was worth it! Very very... small, 7th floor (my daughter read the kanji or it would have taken me awhile to find), 3 private rooms. I say this tongue in cheek, but tatami is foreigner friendly as your feet go down into the floor rather than sitting cross legged for hours. I think I saw owner-chef-and one amazing waitress. Simple is what this is about and it's all about the crab, though it is a full 5 course meal--more like bite sized apps, dessert, but the giant red crab we preordered was a "wow". I have never had fresher crab (well maybe some snow crab in alaska), but this was the best best crab in the world. As others have said here, it's live still, when the legs are cut off, so freshness - nothing more senior to that. Different experiences if you wish shabu-shabu vs sashima style, but everything was beyond description. If you're a crab lover this is your place. We went through Champagne (nice selections), a white burgundy bottle (reasonable price for W.B) and they had a Kenzo white (which IMO was even better than the WB)... so this added considerably to the price. Crab + 10% service fee + 8% tax. Nothing out of reason for this part of the world. Service was amazing and attentive without being in your face. My 12 year old ate and couldn't eat anymore. Our guests and my wife and I all loved it. This is a definite find for a very special occasion or crab lovers must come here. Thank you to the chef and staff for an amazing evening (3+hours)....

“Live crabs ”

5
Reviewed 21/Sep/2017

This Michelin 1 starred restaurant is really small. They have a few private dining rooms only. Skilled chefs attend each room to cook live crabs in front of you. Live crabs! They separate the legs from the body alive. You enjoy crabs in a variety of ways: sashimi, grilled on charcoal, tempura, steam...ed, and hot pot. Such an amazing experience, and you get fully fed. All small appetizers feature seasonal seafood and vegetables. If you consider to pair the dishes with wine, I suggest that you should bring your bottles and pay the corkage, which does not cost you much. They carry a good selection of sake. Since they are such a small restaurant, they can’t accommodate many guests. It is difficult to book a table there. Booking at least a month in advance would be recommended. Staffs are very polite and attentive.
