A dinner that was spectacular! The dining room is an attractive, calm oasis. It is a perfect setting for a multi course dinner that is artistically superb in terms of both the artistry on the plate and the artistry of taste. Introduced by my friend was this lovely Italian restaurant which is a bit on the high-end. The main ingredients are all somewhat from Japan which is lightly transformmed into an Italian style quisine. Everything is of course very aromatic in an almost fusion way. Even in Tokyo, where food standards are the highest in the world, once in a while you come across a restaurant that absolutely blows you away. Our dinner at Aroma Fresca has to be THE best dinner I have had anywhere in the world. The dishes are sublime and the combination of Italian cuisine and a Ja...panese sense of delicateness is married perfectly. The Amuse Bouche of a Tomato Broth was perfect and created a sense of anticipation which was to be fulfilled perfectly by the other courses in an excellent menu degustation. The Grilled Spiny Lobster and the Steamed Soft Shell Turtle were both done exquisitely leaving us wanting more. What followed was a symphony of tastes. An outstanding dinner! Ever grateful to my wonderful hosts for introducing a real star. If Aroma Fresca was anywhere else in the world, New York , Paris or London, it would be the centre of attraction. The only weakness- an average and unusually organized wine list.
