“Best fugu (blowfish) in the world”
I went at the end of January, during fugu season. I have to say the fugu at Ajiman was by far the best I have ever had. To was told by a sushi chef at a Michelin 3 star restaurant that he cannot resist going to Ajiman a few times a year, simply because it is so good. The fried fugu was particular...ly plump and well fried. The price is steep however. For an omakase course including drinks, I paid 60,000 yen. The fugu must be happy they went for that much.

“Best meal I've ever had!”
My friend and I are both foodies and we were able to pull some strings to get into this very hard to get-in and very reputable Fugu restaurant in Roppongi. It is hard to find and appears to be one of those restaurants that you only go there because you know about it. The place is small but very im...pressive. It is a family business where everyone is hands-on-deck. The chef is the oldest, with his sons also cooking. The ladies are involved on the service side. The food is simply amazing, making great use of every part of the Fugu, and event fining a way to incorporate it in the drinks with the grilled tail fin used to give a smoky flavor to the sake. There is no menu, you just get what you get, but very course and every morsel is simply an experience to remember. From the jellied appetizer, to the charred Fugu sperm sack. Everyone is very humble and accommodating also. By far the best meal I have ever had; I will definitely return and recommend this place to other food connoisseurs.
