We stumbled upon this delightful French restaurant as we were walking from our hotel to Ueno Station in Tokyo. The sign outside said no seating was available for that evening but we went back when it was open and we booked for the next evening. This bistro is run by a husband/wife team and their ver...y competent staff. The food was incredibly fresh, using local ingredients, and impeccably prepared. Be ready to use Google translate unless you speak Japanese.

We really lucked into this restaurant. We were in the neighborhood and decided to try it. It was fantastic. The food was really good and I thought the prices were reasonable. Note: bring cash, they don't take credit cards.

We happened upon this restaurant by chance after we had eaten at the pancake restaurant in the same street(also good) so as we were staying just around the corner and fancied something non-Japanese we tried it out. We were not disappointed. The French style food is excellent. We had 3 courses, all d...elicious from the crab, to the beef to the crème caramel. All washed down with a very nice bottle of red. The cost was really reasonable as well. The staff were lovely and really tried to speak English. If you want a break from Japanese food then definitely try this out.

This restaurant serves great western (mainly Italian?) food in Asakusa area. If you are visiting Sensoji temple and other tourist spots in the area, this is one of the good options for dinner.
