“Tasty German Beer is best and must during hot and humid Tokyo summer”
This quite small restaurant is located in five minutes walk from Kichijoji station (JP East Chuo Seibu line or MetroTozai line) in the basement, so it is cool and comfortable. They have about 7-8 sorts of German beer including two sorts of White beer and two types of craft beer. All bears are from t...he barrel and fresh. Of course, they have some variety of wines but only one type of schnapps (Schlichter - do not remember the spelling), but when there is +35C in the street you only want a cold beer. Their menu is not very large but all the dishes are very delicious. My favorite there is chicken schnitzel with freshly made tomato sauce and cheese. Also, 5 types of sausages assorted and spicy shrimps also is a good choice. They have some dessert but not me, nor my daughter never managed to try it as we were full of tasty beer and food. There are several food and drink courses, happy hours during weekdays and several types of "all you can drink".
