“Very good, neat concept”
As someone who travels a lot to the Alps and Germany, it was fun to try the Japanese take on sausages and beer - and it was very good. Nice atmosphere, good beer and a good selection of fine sausages. All you could ask for really. I can recommend it to European visitors to feel homesick and peop...le from wherever who'd like to try a slice of Bavaria.

“Great cospa and great hang out after work”
My office is close to Ark Hills, so I frequently visit both Ark Hills and Akasaka Schmatz. Both have very friendly teams and are a great place for both events and dinners.

“A change of pace in Japan.”
We were staying at the Intercontinental. Ark Hills is an office/shopping complex next door. After touring all day, we wanted to eat close by and we saw Schmatz. Ok, we like beer and sausages, so we gave it a go. We were not disappointed. You cannot eat Japanese everyday. So we had an appetizer of pr...etzels and cheese. Then we had a large plate of sausages with sauerkraut and french fries. The beer was cold and tasty. Definitely a good value and good food. Since Schmatz is a chain, if you see a Schmatz, don't hesitate as the food and beer are very good.

“Good beer and bar food”
A range of German beers and food, very enjoyable. However one evening we were looking to go there and it had shut before 8:15pm, very early when there were still people finishing work, hence a rating of 3.

“Schnitzel Tough”
Beer good, schnitzel tough as leather! The music was good. Again would not recommend the schnitzel. In Tokyo stick with Japanese food your better off.
