Shiawase-no Pankeki Kichijoji

This is located on the 3rd floor of a building about a minute away from Satou. The service staff were very friendly. There is an English menu available. We ordered original which came with maple caramel butter on top. It was awesome!!! The soufflé pancakes were light and fluffy. The butter was a pe...rfect match. We had tried another pancake shop called Flipper's. As compared, Happy's pancakes had a stronger egg taste which made the entire experience akin to eating the lightest French Toast ever. If you are a french toast fan like me, you should not miss Happy. But if you prefer something without the egg taste, Flipper's will be your to-go place. Both are awesome in my opinion. They are so soft, you can literally gently cut them with a fork. Highly recommended!

A wide array of fluffy pancake places had opened over the past few years in Japan. A Happy Pancake has over 20 branches and (I could be wrong) each branch has one flavor limited to the location. This branch was a little bit hard to find but I went at 3 pm on a weekday alone and still had to wait abo...ut 15 mins to get seated. I tried the branch limited flavor which was white chocolate mousse with framboise sauce. It also had pistachio and dried berry drizzles. All the sweet pancakes came with whipped cream and a mint leaf as well. The pancakes were buttery and creamy. And as advertised they were fluffy like poaches of air in your mouth. The sauce tasted like raspberry and red wine which balanced the richness of the pancakes very well.

found this place by accident and love it. the best fluffiest pancake with smooth, creamy whipped cream. had their seasonal strawberries and rose petals pancake.
