“Best Chain Store Udon”
We wanted to try the original Marugame Udon because we love it so much in Indonesia. There wasn't much queue because we came at around 9 pm. I ordered the curry udon. The flavor is slightly different from what I usually have but still delicious. It also has a big portion.

“Soba is good but don't have the tempura”
I was feeling hungry and this place had great looking Soba being prepared from what I could see and smell. I headed in to grab a quick lunch - The place is pretty basic and feels like a fast food type cafeteria. The noodles themselves were good and the broth suitably salty and flavoursome, however I... made the mistake of getting some of the tempura that was available and threw most of it away. Greasy, soggy, tasteless. Really disappointing as it ended up being one of my last meals in Tokyo and the Soba itself were perfectly fine. Lesson learned.
