“Late night steak”
We have wondered what this restaurant was all about since the German place closed down one day and this opened soon after. It's a basement restaurant with a modern booth type layout and counter dining - specialising in Yamagata beef. We had a bagna càuda with several types of mushroom and a house sp...eciality beef starter which was actually cold corned beef and bread - corned beef is so much nicer warm in my opinion. The main plate was a selection of 3 cuts of beef, cooked to fabulous perfection (almost a little crunchy on the outside - soft in the middle) and so very tasty. The staff were welcoming and happy to translate some menu highlights for us. The maitre d' was very generous with our wine - we ordered a small carafe, he filled our glasses first then gave us our carafe. They said we are welcome to bring the kids next time.
