“Great place in shinjuku to eat traditional eel full course meal.”
Great full course eel meal! Each course are all tasty. There are many dishes that are grilled on skewers with different flavors and sauces and not only the ell rice bowl.

“A good place to get your unaju fix”
We came in around 2pm so it was a late lunch. The place was empty since it was after lunch time. As usual, they don't really speak English, but they do provide us with English menu. We had the special unaju and the chopped eel enaju (which you can eat mixing it with soup if you prefer). The eel was... fantastic, juicy and tender. The taste was delicious, perfect balance of sweet, salty, and a little bit umami taste to it. The only thing lacking was probably the size. It was either we were so hungry due to the late lunch or the size is not that big. The price was around 9,500 yen for 2 people.

“BEST Unagi we've ever had”
It was our last night in Tokyo and we really wanted to wrap up our travel with a good Japanese meal. Researched and found this local unagi restaurant that was rated very highly and seemed to be popular among locals. The staff were extremely friendly, and tried their best to explain the different una...gi set in basic English. My fiancé rated this as the best meal we had in Tokyo, the eel was the best we've ever tasted. We tried to figure out which skewers to order but decided to ask the staff for their most popular option. Ordered a Umeshu Sake to complement our meal. Every single side dish served were so delicious we finished em' all. The unagi were probably the most juicy and chewy ones we'd had. Hopefully they'd have an English menu translated for future foreign visitors. Highly recommend this restaurant to any one who loves eel!

“Fabulous eel!”
I love eel and this place is one of the best eel restaurants in Tokyo. All of the menu is in Japanese but they helped me order a series of dishes that were delicious. My neighbor even had me share some of his dish. A friendly and delicious experience!

“Musti try unagi place”
A small traditional place within hectic shinjuku. No english menu and nobody speaks english, but they are very friendly. Ordered extra large unagi don, yaki of unagi liver, neck and belly. Everything was very very good. The unagi belly was DA BOMB! Crispy skin, with melt in your mouth meat. Excellen...t
