Nishichi

The whole experience is a first-class, magnificent journey across the different flavors and textures of the Edomae style sushi. What the sushi master Nao Inagaki brings on the table is an exquisite matching of tastes and techniques that takes you through a continuous, well balanced and thoroughly de...signed flow consisting of a couple of dozens of small bites. It’s a dance of nigiri and small bites, properly designed to prepare the mouth to accommodates the next step, one after the other. The raw material was excellent, first choice cuts of fish (from tuna to abalone, from horse mackerel to eels and sea urchin). The preparation was superlative. The service was impeccable, praise to the waitress, always present but never annoying, of such a great professionalism that is very rare nowadays. Eventually, a mention to the venue, a cozy and exquisitely decorated ambiance that soothes your mind. Sushi Nishichi is definitely worth to visit, more than once, and can definitely aspire to a Michelin star, since it’s already at the bar with the most renowned sushi restaurants of the entire Japan.

I couldn't recommend this place enough. Yes it is local and yes the chef has little English but that is what gave this place its uniqueness and sophistication. It has space for 4 couples/ 8 individuals and you all get served exactly the same, exactly what is prepared right in front of you. The other... couples were Japanese and for us, that was exactly what we were looking for, a non-touristy place. The server did an amazing job, ensuring we had our glasses topped up and explaining as much as she could the dishes we were about to eat - totally our fault for not learning more Japanese before we left. The food was absolutely incredible and one the highlights from the trip. Booking is essential which we did online with no issues.

I was so disappointed in choosing this place. The Japanese lady’s service was more than horrible. Regardless the fact that they have only one course, we’ve been served totally different items than Japanese guests sitting next to us. Felt like discrimination, considering we paid same money or I would...n’t be surprised more than locals. Just wanted to say that in Japan there so many amazing sushi restaurants with excellent service, so think twice before taking reservation in this particular place. Foreign people are surely not welcomed here.

We went with the full menu and it was amazing, everything from the atmosphere to the chef and hostess was perfect. Fusion sushi with an amazing taste palette We will be back, great place!❤️
