“Best sake restaurant ever!”
We had the 6 dish course with desert. Together with the friendly lady boss’ demeanour, the wide selection of sake and the warm setting of the place, I would definitely recommend this place for sake and dinner in Tokyo. 5/5 stars. Btw, the best dish was the soft boiled egg with truffles. I give that... dish 6/5 stars.

“Excellent Dinner and Experience!”
We (6 of us) had one of the best meals and experiences in this tiny restaurant! We had the 7 course pairing with sake and it was more than enough. The food was beautifully prepared, the sake delicious and the owner was delightful. I only wish i could have spoken to her in Japanese! It was a high...light of our trip and not to be missed. Need to make a reservation as there are probably only 12 seats and the food is made to order.

“Perfect Balance”
In this famously foodie city there are thousands of wonderful places like Sake Scene but very few you can properly enjoy without a reasonable level of Japanese. Here in the backstreets of Daimon is one of those few. The menu is nominally French but certainly modern Japanese and Italian-influenced to...o - our 5000 yen 'light course' was all fresh, quality ingredients imaginatively prepared to complement the variety of artisanal sake on offer. We were wowed by the the raspberry notes of Kanagawa's (deliberately misspelled) "Queeen" with mackerel, the almost caramel character of the sake paired with pork and the positively electric finish of another Kanagawa offering that complemented our soup rice with parmesan. An evening here is a great way to end a day visiting Tokyo Tower, Zozo-ji Temple and Hamarikyu Gardens, all close by, and its perfect balance of quality, affordability, ingenuity and geniality makes it ideal for a business dinner with a visitor. Just choose either of the course menu options and a matching flight of sake and leave it to Yanaba-san and her team to serve up an evening to remember.

“Excellent Sake Experience near JR Hamamatsucho Station ”
Our last night in Tokyo and we wanted a special experience. Sake was our theme this trip and we had great Sake in Sapporo and Asahikawa so we looked for a restaurant near our hotel Intercontinental Tokyo Bay that would offer the same Sake experience. We found Sake Scene Masufuku on Open Table Rese...rvation and booked dinner. You will not be disappointed and the French Cuisine is Excellent when Yukari pairs Sake with ever course.
