La Brianza

A local friend recommended this lunch place to me. Decided to try something different and decided to make a reservation. All I can say, very value lunch and they have different set menus. I surely be back. Overall small place but great food for the price. Very popular among the locals within Rop...pongi area. We tried their upgraded beef lunch… nice flavors. Great for a decent lunch and I do not know much about the celebrity chef etc.. love the food.

This was a nice place. The staff was warm and very attentive. They were able to accommodate my seafood allergy in the course and substituted other items. The wine was very delicious and the course was so filling. It’s a small place so it was very intimate and close seating. The resturant is beautifu...l with the colors and fashion styling. Everything on the course menu was delicious. By the end we were completely full!

It’s with a very heavy heart I give them a three star rating. I think my rating is more like 3.65 because the food is very good. Okuno chef is a really nice guy, and I was introduced to him by my good chef friend last year. They are both celebrity chefs in Japan. Food is good overall but the cheese... and wine collections are not impressive. They only have three types of cheeses all of which are nothing special (blue cheese, Camembert, and a washed cheese). In other words, the place lacked the sophistication I want. But the flavors and quality of ingredients used are excellent so I would go again.

A Italian restaurant cooking with ingredients from Japan? A perfect match. La Brianza is a very nice place where you can have a glass of wine by the bar or enjoy a 8 course dinner. Menu in english. The food, both fish and meat, was really good and looked elegant. The service was top class. In a j...ungle of restaurants, you will not regret going to this cosy place. Worth every penny

We took a roundabout route to get here by Google map. Shortest route is up the escalator from Roppongi Stn B1, past the Mori Hills spider sculpture, art centre, down the escalator n restaurant is right in front. Ambience is nice. Restaurant was crowded; fortunately we called ahead to book. Service w...as attentive n crew were very friendly. Chef owner came out twice to briefly chat. Food was excellent probably best Japanese Italian we’ve had. We ordered additional Hiroshima oysters for starters which was briny n tasty. Truffle eggs was aromatic tasty. Ham n aged mimolette cheese was excellent. Aged Miyazaki Wagyu was tender but not fatty. Every dish was yummy. Will be back to try the lunch.
