“One of the best omakase in tokyo”
Hihgly recommended. One of the best meal I had in Tokyo. The place was nicely decorated. Every dish they serve was carefully thought about down to the detail. Although there was a lot of food and we were full but we enjoyed it down to the last bite. Actually, the last hand roll was my personal f...avourite. The atmosphere was also great. Chef is Japanese but can speak fluent English, so does the services. It’s located right in the middle of Ginza and is a place we would definitely go back. Book in advance as there are limited seats (as do all omakase places in Japan) and I saw many famous people while I was there so I’m thinking this place is a hidden gem that may not stay low key for too long. Price is not expensive compared to other omakase in tokyo, also not cheap but worth every bite.

“Delightful”
Really good sushi served by a super friendly chef and his wife. The seared tuna is beyond delicious. He is great with English and very approachable.

“A Wonderful & Big Big Surprise”
Thx my good friend’s David Kung for introducing this gorgeous contemporary omakase sushi restaurant by Masa Ishibashi to me (though he told me he hasn’t tried it himself yet!) when I was in Tokyo earlier this week. The maestro chef Masa-san told us the story of how he started working and learning in... a traditional sushi restaurant (following his Chef father) as an apprentice at the age of 10 and now in his mid-thirties only he opened this new restaurant only a month ago so that he could create what he likes to prepare and what he thinks clients would enjoy rather than following the tradition! His use of fresh ingredients including truffle on sushi as well as different types of gravy and sauce on his sushi combo are extraordinarily! The restaurant decor is a good blend of modern and classical as well. Lastly the samurai knife he uses for preparing the fish is so unusual yet the way he’s cutting his fishes was so gentle but with strength - the whole thing is an art of its own! As said this sushi restaurant is new but I can guarantee it will be very famous and full of satisfactory clients very very soon. Do book in advance and try it out next time you are in Tokyo! You won’t be disappointed!
