“Great service”
The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, cozy in all the right ways. The music set the perfect mood, and our waiter was so kind and attentive, making the whole experience feel genuinely warm despite the language barrier.

“Good food, friendly service”
This Izakaya was close to our hotel with good reviews. I chose it because we wanted some choices for dinner, after a sushi/sashimi-heavy lunch. My family had soba noodles, warm and cold, a couple tempura sets, and fried chicken wings. The soba was well-prepared and tasty, the tempura was fine but a ...little bland and soggy. The true star was the chicken wings! The server was very friendly and worked with us despite our language barrier. There is no english menu, or menu with pictures ; Google Translate gets you about 85% of the meaning in their calligraphic menu…

“Delicious local Japanese meal just one station from Ginza”
Hidden gem home style food just one station from the hustle-and-bustle of Ginza offering a wide spread of Japanese foods including grilled or slow-cooked appetizers, tempura, hot pot, sushi/sashimi. We were lucky to walk in without reservation and snagged the last table just before the queue formed.... The owner was super polite despite not speaking fluent English, and provided great recommendations. Just excellent service and smiles above already high Japanese hospitality standards.
