Locals only style experience, excellent food. Look, I was on the hunt for the best food. I’m not Japanese but I spent a good hour walking the area and came across this gem. The food was incredible. People complain about the service. To them I say: you’re a foreigner and this is a place mostly fo...r locals. Have some gratitude that they’re even willing to serve you.

This yakiniku restaurant in Shinjuku was an absolutely dreadful experience, solely due to the incredibly rude male staff member we encountered. From the moment we arrived, his behavior was appalling. Upon politely stating "For 2 people," he snapped back with an irritated "Yea I know!" When I unde...rstandably asked what was wrong, he simply stared us down, attempting to start a confrontation as we were being seated. His aggressive and unprofessional demeanor was enough for us to leave immediately without ordering. Don't waste your time or money here. There are countless other fantastic dining options in Shinjuku with friendly and respectful service. Avoid this place at all costs! 新宿にあるこの焼肉レストランは、私たちが遭遇した信じられないほど失礼な男性スタッフのせいで、本当にひどい経験でした。到着した瞬間から、彼の態度はひどいものでした。「2人です」と丁寧に伝えたところ、彼はイライラした様子で「分かってるよ！」と返してきました。私が当然のことながら「何か問題でも？」と尋ねると、彼はただ私たちを見つめ返し、席に着こうとした私たちに言い争いを始めようとしました。彼の攻撃的でプロ意識のない態度に、私たちは何も注文せずにすぐに店を出ることにしました。時間とお金を無駄にしないでください。新宿には、フレンドリーで敬意を払ったサービスを提供する、数え切れないほどの素晴らしい飲食店があります。ここは絶対に避けるべきです！

The stuff are very rude and remove us from the table and sat us on the bar while 2 tables were vacant claiming they were reserved and they are raacist because we're not Japanese they treated us like carp and making jocks about us in Japanese while looking at us, if your not Japanese don't eat at thi...s place

This place had great meat that we were able to cook, and they have a bunch of spices on the side that you can use. They were also very nice and made sure my husband’s food was not contaminated by fish or shellfish. They even made a dipping sauce for him that used nothing seafood related. The staff w...as friendly, and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Went here because of previous reviews and was not disappointed. Always good to be able to cook your own on the table bbq with all the sizzle and smoke although each bbq has a ceiling mounted extractor pipe directly over the bbq. Good service and reasonable price. Evening peak hours best to book ahea...d. Felt pretty authentic since most of fellow diners were Japanese. Located in interesting street with other restaurant options
