“Lively restaurant with a different food offering.”
Popular spot so do book. Lively, small restaurant in the buzzing streets of Shinjuku, basement location. Counter, tables and shoes off Japanese style sit on the floor. Food cooked on teppan with some theatre so best seats are at the counter. Restaurant specialises in dishes from Hiroshima based aro...und batter, cabbage and pork cooked in front of you. I had the seafood variant, good, different. I also had a wagu steak, tried a few by now and its OK, obviously quite fatty but tender. We also tried some veg dishes to accompany which were excellent too.

“Great food! Great service”
Lovely service and food would recommend you book as was only accepting reservations even on a Monday night. I am vegetarian and they were great for that I just had to ask. Such a fun experience- great for solo travellers too

“Great food, welcoming atmosphere, brilliant staff”
We were a party of 9, including 1 giddy toddler and what an experience we had. We all tried okonomiyaki for the first time and loved it. More importantly, the staff were so attentive and even helped to entertain our 2 year old (when in other restaurants he might not feel so welcome). A special shout... out to Mya who went above and beyond in serving us and making it a pleasurable and memorable experience. It was our last night in Tokyo, so happy we had it here

“Best Japanese restaurant experience 🇯🇵”
What a wonderful experience dining in this restaurant! We were warmly welcomed by the fabulous host and seated immediately as we had a booking. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced! Thank you for a great evening!

Accomodating for Gluten Free, Staff were lovely and very friendly, drink game on entry is a must and is fantastic customer experience
