“Fusano-Eki - A HIDDEN GEM!!”

What a WONDERFUL chance we stumbled into this great little market/cafe combo! It wasn't far from the JR Narita Station, so we found it on a Google search and headed over. The neighborhood was brilliant, with cute statues and lots to look at along the way. It was an easy walk from the station, about ...10 minutes. The little market at the front of the building had a lot of interesting and tasty items to look through, but we did not purchase. At the back of the market there was a smallish cafe style sitting area (with additional small garden for seating). The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Order at the counter, pick up from the service window. We had a family of five (all different tastes and ages - 43-13 years old). After spending two weeks in Japan, this was still one of our FAVORITE MEALS! I ordered the "Roast beef bowl" small and my husband ordered the large; both included a drink (we opted for coffee). It cost 1485 and 2035 respectively. My husband had a hard time finishing his bowl (should have got the standard); my small was just right. 23 year old nephew ordered the roast beef curry; also came with drink for 1650 yen. Again, all were AMAZING!

“A stroll back in time”

Reviewed 14/Mar/2019

We started our stroll a little late in the afternoon, and I wish we had started earlier. We managed to visit a few shops though, and I did most of my gift shopping on this street. The day we went there had been a festival happening, so a few people still wandering around in kimonos and also some str...eet entertainment. The street goes all the way from Narita station to Narita Temple. It starts off flat and then goes down a bit of a hill. It is lined with gift shops and food places. Some are expensive and some reasonable. I think there is something for everyone.
