“Private-Room Kaiseki in Ginza — Hamo, Matsutake, and a Perfect Setting for Any Occasion”
A short walk from Shimbashi Station, we had a meal at a restaurant tucked into a quiet Ginza backstreet. All the seating was private rooms, which was wonderful for being able to relax without worrying about anyone around us. The course opened with a fresh, vividly green eggplant appetizer, followed... by a hamo (pike conger) soup with the fish carefully bone-cut — the fragrance of the dashi and matsutake mushroom was exquisite, and the meticulous craftsmanship of washoku came through in every dish. The sea urchin sashimi happened to be the last of the season that day, and it's always a treat to encounter an ingredient right at that fleeting moment. From the hassun to the signature clay-pot rice at the end, the course let us savor the changing seasons dish by dish — thoroughly satisfying. It would be a wonderful setting for a business dinner, of course, but also for a family celebration or an important gathering. I'd love to come back again.

“Tasty Lunch”
I had a lunch course with business guests. The private room for four persons was spacious and comfortable. The lunch course menu cost 3800 JPY = 32 USD and included sashimi, tempura of shrimp and other various traditional Japanese food. My business guests from U.S. were happy for the meals and atmos...phere. This restaurant is recommendable for business lunch or dinner. Lastly, the restaurant moved to the following address in November 2015. Ginza 8-3-1, 5th floor.
