“Superb service. Monjayaki good”
Most restaurants were shutting down at 8pm. A bit early for us Brits, so after visiting 3 restaurants and finding they were all shut we struck lucky. A charming Economics graduate served us. Great English and explained all about the Monjayaki and how it was prepared. We had 2. The first a fishy dis...h which was fine if not a little bland. The second - meat based - had much more flavour and was really tasty. If you want theatre, go here. If fine dining is your bag, go elsewhere. But for just £25 for 2 including 2 beers, this was a good effort and we would return if were ever in the area.

“Lovely”
The recommended monja with the fish roe we delicious and the service was great. Nice small place nicely located nearby the senso-ji temple.

“Traditional food”
Traditional monjayaki. Although the menu was in Japanese the waiter translated and explained it. Really good, although the place is really small.
