“Worst "Morton's" on the planet. A bad joke.”

Where do I even begin? I've been to over 20 Morton's around the world, mostly in the US, but also Singapore, Hong Kong and Mexico City. They are consistently very good. The Tokyo branch is NOT a Morton's, except in name. The food is simply not good. The famous onion bread is nothing like the orig...inal. It's soft and spongy without the usually crunchy crust. I think they put sugar in it, in fact,. 2 out if 10. A disgrace. Lobster bisque is never great at Morton's, and here the version is ok, but without much flavor. A 4 out of 10. The so-called "Morton's Salad is a bit of iceberg lettuce with virtually no dressing. Tasteless and a completely laughable dish. Horrible. The porterhouse for two was small and badly cooked. Almost no char on the outside, and therefore without flavour. I've had thicker porthouse steaks steaks at other Morton's for ONE person, and this was supposedly for two. And again, virtually tasteless. Bernaise sauce for the four of us was one tiny portion that you would get if you dined aline. But we were a group if four . A baked potato (oddly mis-shaoen) was put on the table with a tiny vat of sour cream, instead of the usual Morton's method of the server fixing the potato for you. We ran out of sour cream half way through the potato. Spinach was fine. Perhaps the only fish that we liked. Seriously, I love Morton's. But this branch is a bad joke. They badly need training. I wasted $600 on a meal that would have been a rip off at half that amount Do not waste your money. Wait until you are in another city and go to a real Morton's. This branch is a travesty

This Morton’s is fairly new and joins many international steakhouse brands here in Tokyo. Service and Atmosphere very good. I have to admit that even though I like the “vibe” better at other of my favorite steakhouses, the steaks at Morton’s taste the best! Note: they serve the food too fast, espec...ially when the restaurant is not very full. I would recommend you order slowly. Drinks. When they come, appetizer and then when finished, order main etc. You will enjoy it this way. Otherwise you will have plates of food pileups... that is the worst (this is something I do at all new places now as having all the food come so close together is awful). I would have given this place a “5” rating, but the prices are TOO expensive! I have eaten at Morton’s in other countries and so far, Tokyo is by far the most expensive.

One of the famous steakhouse brands from the US. The appetisers are generally better than competitors lawry’s and smith & wollensky. The onion bread and lobster bisque are standouts, add 1 star. The steaks and other mains (chicken and fish) are ok

Was surprised to see that Morton’s has arrived to Japan. I have lived in Hong Kong and Singapore and have enjoyed Morton’s dinner experience. So dropped by to enjoy their happy hour which they can power hour in Japan The location is in central business district of Tokyo Marunouchi. The happy hour l...ounge is in front of the bar. But there is a nice open terrace that opens during spring time. I think it would be a great place to chill after work. Tried their Martini and the price was very reasonable (800 yen) The bar tender host was very friendly too. I would see myself visiting again

I have a goal of visiting every Morton’s worldwide. The Morton’s Tokyo just opened a couple of months ago and I happened to be in Japan on a snowboarding trip so of course I stopped in to Morton’s. The location is excellent, close to the Tokyo Center train station. I had a reservation and was “awar...ded” the best view/seat in the house. The staff was extremely friendly and treated me like royalty. The service was excellent, the food was cooked as ordered and was some of the best beef I have ever had, I ordered the Japanese beef and it was so flavorful and tender. The Mac n Cheese was cooked as I requested and was excellent, I took the leftovers for my meal the next day. Topped off the meal with a Japanese whiskey. I will definitely be back when visiting Tokyo.
