“Horrible service! Avoid this restaurant!”
It’s surprising to have really bad service at a place in Japan! Our waiter was the worst we ever had - felt as if he had something against American people. He neglected us from the start all the way to the end of our time there.

“All you can est salad bar is good”
You can choose many variations of the spagetties, hamburg, or steak. Hamburg is using many kinds of the mashrooms so I feel really tasty.

“Fresh and very tasty food”
Went with my wife to AW 55 for the first time. Each of us had a dish of spaghetti, 0ne with pepperoni and shrimps and another one with cream sauce and fresh mushrooms. Both tasted very delicious . For a starter one can chose from a salad bar with a variety of different ingredients (all very fresh... and tasty). The salad bar was unlimited for all you can eat. For drinks different juices are offered (again all you can drink and at no extra charges). I had very delicious pomegranate juice. This restaurant can be recommended without ifs and buts. By the way we paid for our lunch 3,000 JPY (tax included)

“Nice grill relatively easy for Gaijin to eat at”
Large open plan restaurant on the 4th Floor of Arte building which is part of Shinagawa station. The theme is a type of BBQ. In other cities I have found it described as Argentinian. The main dish offered is a 30cm skewer of either chicken, pork, beef or lamb which is delivered on a hanger over a ...small plate of grilled veg (peppers, squash and mash potato). Being Japan they then also offer a range of other 'side' dishes. Everything was freshly cooked. Menu is available in English

“A limited lunch selection but super fresh food at Grill AW55.”
Had a business lunch at "Grill & Bar AW55" located on the 4th Floor of the Atre at Shinagawa Station and the menu was quite limited, (several pasta dishes and then some meat options: ribs, grilled hamburger or minced pork cutlet curry). However the ambience was quite nice and the quality of the foo...d and the freshness of the produce was very good. I had the 'Curry' and this was very tasty. The freshness and quality of the self-service salad bar was exceptionally good. Service was good and the prices were mid-range for a lunch at about JPY1,500 for each lunch.
