Restaurant Yoyogi

This is an excellent choice for dining when visiting the Meiji Shrine. The food is carefully prepared and is very tasty. It’s a great way to sample Japanese cuisine in an informal setting. Service is prompt, cheerful and efficient. My Japanese style seafood lunch was delicious, and my husband really... enjoyed his pork cutlet.

This restaurant is the perfect stop-over after having visited the Meiji Shrine and before continuing one's exploration of the area. The green tea ice-creams (and mango ones) are an absolute must. There is an outside patio as well, which is convenient during very warm days.

Near Meiji Jingu Shrine, quite expensive and may explain the service and not very crowded on my visit. if you want a place to enjoy your food without the noisy environment. i will recommend this restaurant

The key to this cafe is location, being right on the property of the Meiji Jingu Shrine. It has a large menu of lighter food items and drinks. It's air conditioned which is a big plus in the heat. Desserts are a focus. It's very expensive as the bill for 3 of us having drinks and one little cake... was about $20. However, it's the only thing going in the immediate area so you may choose to take advantage of it.
