This ramen is fantastic! The taste is great, and while it is definitely available for tourists, the flavors and history are so authentic. The little kae-dama tray ordering system is awesome! We went back several times :)

After a longish wait - 30 mins or so - I got to try the famous Tonkotsu ramen, it was delicious. The setup is a little weird for westerners - you sit at your own little desk area and get passed food through a curtain by a chef whose face you can’t see, it’s quite a puzzling and dehumanised experienc...e! But it’s certainly a unique experience and one I’ll remember for a while. The ramen was great, very tasty and worth the wait.
