YOSHINOYA Asakusachuo

Yoshinoya was my father’s go-to for breakfast when traveling in Japan. This chain restaurant is most everywhere. So when my son, mother and I were deciding where to eat breakfast we came upon Yoshinoya and decided to go in. Breakfast choices are many - but Japanese style. And after placing our o...rder, breakfast was served under 2 minutes. My mother received her order under one minute. This is what Yoshinoya is known for fast food ... but also good food! My son and I ordered and our total for both came to 880yen ... you can’t go wrong with that price!

Had just landed in Tokyo Asakusa district and hadn't done any research, late afternoon and everywhere between sittings, we were close to going to McDonald's!! Just happened upon this place that had a good looking menu but not in English. We pointed at four pictures on the menu and posters and came u...p trumps. All the dishes were really tasty and everything got finished off. Four plates and two large beers 2800 yen, you will go some distance to beat that

Delicious food when to lunch at there.Restaurant have place at asakusha small but enough for eating with relax .Like ocha and grill salmon with red ginger.Must to try eat this

I sadly only visited this one Yoshinoya restaurant during my 2 week stay in Japan, but it was great for the price! I visited in September 2015 with some friends. I had a simple bowl of ramen and a drink, and it was a couple pound in Yen equivalent. Bargain! The staff were happy to help with our poor... Japanese too!

I tried to find local Gil-dong restaurant, beef rice?, in Asakusa area but couldn't find one. So I asked the police where I can eat Gil-dong and he suggested Yoshinoya for me. Well, I tried to avoid chain restaurant since I was afraid that its taste wouldn't be like a local taste, but I had no choic...e that time, so I went there and take a seat. The menu made me say 'Wow' since its price was very cheap, I paid only JPY380 for a bowl of Gil-dong and found that it's very delicious. Well, Yoshinoya in China was not this delicious. So I ended up really like it although the restaurant was too quiet with only salary men coming for eating dinner. Anyway, it's not a place for a group of friends but it's suitable more with who go solo. If you stay around Asakusa and wanna eat Gil-dong, I think this is the best choice with the best price!
