“Ryokan-style Food in Fast-Family Restaurant”
Love different Japanese dishes served at Ryokans? This is the restaurant for you! Kaiseki Lunch has delicious tempura, sashimi, little side dishes, chawanmushi (egg custard-a speciality), you choose the type of rice you want (usually seasonal like mushroom- or bamboo is especially good) Drinks inclu...ded, Matcha is great and coffee (1490 yen). Happy Hour (check ads-times change) Menu has everything from noodles to Grilled Beef Luncheon to individual hotpots to Fried Oysters Luncheon (really good) to Kid's Menu. Large Party room can be reserved and all-you-can-drink plans are available. Deco is modern Japanese, love the Shoe Box entrance with classic keys. Recently redecorated with separate booths. Only CON: the parking lot is a little hard to find the entrance. Ai means the deep blue color of aizome (color dye)
