“Oishii - worth repeat visits”
Oishii! I lived in Japan (Yokohama, then Toyko) many years ago, and have visited almost every year since then, and I usually stay in Shinjuku when I come to Tokyo. But I hadn't heard of this cute little ramen shop; Google maps brought it up when I typed in "ramen" and it was just a couple of hundr...ed (well, 300) meters from my hotel. It's tucked into the Golden Gai, which is fun. I went at 10:30, and I was the only customer - for about 5 minutes. I got the house special ramen, and it was delicious: I liked the combination of flat and more traditional noodles, and the rich sardine broth. I thought the two slices of pork and whole egg, along with green onions, were the perfect toppings. A mid-morning Sapporo beer complemented the rich ramen umami. One of my best ramen experiences ever; go!

“Classic Golden Gai Experience”
This is a great example of your classic Golden Gai experience. The restaurant is super tiny and has to have some of the steepest stairs I've ever seen. The food is good, but has a strong, salty fish base. We really enjoyed our experience and liked dinner.

“Niboshi ramen”
Gorgeous ramen with thick noodles and a thick soup as well. The toppings were delicious and the soup was vegan ...... I think.

“Delicious ramen”
The ramen here was delicious and the broth was apparently sardine based with a lot of nice umami. Highly recommended ramen.

“10 / 10 experience”
OMG!! What an experience... the flavor , freshness, textures ... it was just amazing! It's incredible to have such a great meal in such a small place! It was crowded but quickly and super well served... I will return for sure if I have the chance !!
