“Fantastic simmerd pork belly shop”
The meat here is absolutely melt-in-your-mouth fantastic. Must visit if you are in Tokyo! The owner is also very friendly, he speaks English there is also an English menu.

“Delicious pork belly rice bowl”
Kakuniku is a famous style of pork, and this place does it very well. One of the better meals. Their curry is also surprisingly spicey and delicious.

“A Hidden Gem for Braised Pork Lovers!”
Kuroshiro Kakuni-don was recommended to us by a friend who frequently visits Japan. Since braised pork is a familiar dish in our culture and we were craving something braised, we decided to give it a try! Kuroshiro Kakuni-don is located outside the main streets, tucked away between small shops and h...omes. The chef greeted us with exceptional friendliness! He asked where we were from and even offered us some curry to try, which was delicious on its own. This is the beauty of small local businesses. Now, onto the food—the braised pork was exceptional! It was soft, had just the right amount of fat, and was tender, perfectly paired with eggs and, surprisingly, some mashed potatoes. If we ever crave braised pork again, my husband would definitely want this place to be our go-to! Don't forget! Cash only or PayPay.
