Staying at Toranomon Hill Hotels (amazing btw, homey feel, Nordic aesthetics with distinct Tokyo touch) We are family of 6 (2 kids, and four parents) dropping into Toranomon Lucky looking for a good, good Japanese dinner, high quality that the kids would also enjoy (so often hit or miss) Looking ...at the menu, simple enough, reflective of selective dishes and a well put together menu Hajime (our waiter) very patiently took our orders (talking between Japanese and English) while giving superb recommendations You must all give a try for the Claypot Rice. If anything, has to be this. Swordfish and Sweetcorn, sounds simple enough, but the taste and aroma both hits so well while being subtle with layers of tastes and textures (Sweetcorn crisp is a special one, every bite) Chicken and Vegetables stew was also fantastic (goes quite well with the rice actually, although the rice is already so good on its own) Meatballs was also superb. A special Japanese style hamburger for meat lovers Vegetables (grilled) also superb, we ordered broccoli (which came with cured ham), just right Big kudos to Chef Manato for cooking the delicious dishes. All in front of us. A special dining experience Sushi was great too. Put together by Kitchen Captain Kohei. He leads a superb team, very cohesive, friendly and adding a very special vibe to the place and our evening Thanks very much ! See you next time

Amazing dinner our first night in Tokyo. Perfect because there was something for everyone (sushi, sashimi, eel, noodles, tempura . . .). And the staff was super friendly with great English.
