“Excellent”
In the heart of Omoide Yokocho. Small restaurant directly on the street, very good. I tried cold yaki soba and was delicious and cheap.

“Amazing”
Best food we ate in Japan. It's just stools along a bar. One leaves, one sits. We ordered tempura soba. Soba with broth, tempura veg and a egg. First food in Japan to not have a fish stick in it. It was really nice and very cheap.

Visited Kameya at around 11 am. Walking through the narrow alleys it would be unsurprising if a visitor was to not recognise this quaint but small restaurant hidden from the main streets of Shinjuku. The name of the restaurant is not in English and you really have to go by the map that tells you whe...re the restaurant is. You will find it on a corner bounded by two small walkway alleys. There are only a small number of seats but do not underestimate the quality of food produced at this small restaurant. We have been in Japan for five days and are still trying to find something equal to the quality of this restaurant. The search goes on.

“Delicious!”
Very quick and tasty meal. Noodles were great, so was the tempura. And it's all prepared in this tiny space right in front of you. Super affordable. A great experience overall
