Panzerotteria

The pizzas are one thing (exceptional) but I come here for the salads. Made with olive oil that is to die for, I can't get enough of it. The black rice is a particular favorite. Owner is delightful, chef is amazing, a must-stop while in Shibuya.

Wonderful restaurant with everything one is looking for: fresh authentic products, combined in a very clever and well executed menu served with care and love! You feel like you've stopped at someone's home and in fact you have, since the owner is the one greeting you. Speaks english and Italian perf...ectly by the way! : ) Lovely place delicious food. Went twice over 3 days..Can't recommend enough and will go back next time in Tokyo!

This place in Shibuya is is an extraordinary find. The owner Nishi spent 25 years working in Italy. Yukimi in the kitchen brings a light and artful touch to every dish. Nishi speaks fluent English and Italian and offers a cultured, warm, natural, genuine, personal welcome that is unlike anything I f...ound in Tokyo. The food is the best Italian cooking I have ever experienced anywhere. The Panzerotti they serve, fried in light and healthy Cotton Seed Oil, are unique in Japan.

We found this place on trip advisor as we were curious about the Japanese take on Italian cuisine. What we found was a lovely restaurant with a very friendly owner who spoke excellent English, and who made some spectacular and reasonably priced food. All three of us had the speciality of the place ...the panzerrotti; and we werely sorely tempted to immediately order more. We are currently trying to work out when to go back on our limited remaining days in Tokyo.

Went today for lunch and had a great selection of Panzerotti (mini calzone). They were delicious, authentic and well cooked whilst being very flavour some. Owner was insightful and speaks ENG/JP/IT and very humble. Will definitely return!!
