“Good services with decent food”
Wanted to try something non-Japanese so decided on some comfort food, chicken with waffles. The food did not disappoint but it did not impress as well. Felt the chicken could have been prepared with more adventurous marinating and the waffle could be more crispy. On the whole it’s still decent meal.... The thing that impressed more was the service of the place. There was only one staff running the cashier, serving, clearing table and taking orders. Yet the attention to details was impeccable and efficient. This guy really deserves a bonus. If ever needs a recharge when at this mall. This is good place to grab a quick bite and rest up.

“50th Birthday at 50th State Style Restaurant”
I enjoyed my meal and brought back memories from when I was in Hawaii for five years. Although, my wife’s meal was not as great as her shrimp were not quite prepared as she usually enjoyed. My chicken dish with the standard Hawaiian fare sides was excellent.

“Birthday Lunch”
I enjoyed my lunch of chicken with nice Hawaiian style sides. However, my wife’s shrimp was kind of oddly prepared. Overall enjoyable and worth a look.

“50th Birthday Lunch at 50th US State Themed Restaurant ”
We were nearby at Land Transportation Office and decided to stop over at Lalaport (mall); especially since it was my birthday. The decor and food was a Hawaiian style upscale plate lunch place. I had the Cajun Chicken plate that came with sides of rice, macaroni salad and small side salad. I ordered... the unsweetened peach tea for my drink. I thought my plate was delicious. My wife ordered similar dish but with garlic shrimp instead of chicken. We did not care for the shrimp as it was prepared oddly with tomatoes that took away from the preparation and was not very good. The plating was nice and large by Japanese standard.
