“Beautiful view and sushi”
First time visiting Japan and this was my favorite restaurant. Went for lunch. Great view with delicious Sushi. Wish I could have gone more than once.

“One-stop shop with nice atmosphere”
What is unique about this place that it has everything (other than teppanyaki) on its menu. We ordered their grilled mackerel, sushi, sashimi & tempura and they were all great. So if you want to avoid running to different shops to taste these, this could be a one-stop shop for you. Do note it is loc...ated on the 4F of the Odori Bisse building.

“The most disappointed experience of dining at a restaurant.”
I recently visited 炭焼・寿し処 炙屋 大通ビッセ店 with a group of friends based on the positive reviews, but I'm afraid I cannot recommend this restaurant. We arrived around 7pm and placed our full order with the help of a native Japanese-speaking companion. The waitress, 高xx, took down our complete order. Howe...ver, after nearly an hour of waiting, we only received our drinks and sashimi. It became clear that 高xx had failed to submit the full order. When 高xx realized her mistake, she provided a barely sincere apology and made zero effort to make amends or ensure we had a better experience. At no point did the staff wave our drinks, offer any complimentary items, or demonstrate they were willing to take responsibility. This was an extremely disappointing experience, as we were excited to try the highly rated dishes. Instead, we were left feeling frustrated and with an unfinished meal. A refund or complimentary meal would have been an appropriate gesture, but the staff did not offer anything to regain our trust. Based on our service experience, I cannot recommend 炭焼・寿し処 炙屋 大通ビッセ店.

“Hokkaido specialties”
Good food in a nice modern setting (great view). Enjoyed the grilled shishamo (smelt), which is native to Hokkaido and the kinki (rockfish), which I am told is also a local delicacy. The latter is sweet (like gindara), though I'm not sure if it was because of the way it was cooked. Service is a b...it slow.
