“Very safe choice for a great meal”
This place is a solid izakaya. Clean and bright, it featured an iPad for multilingual ordering at our table. The sushi, sashimi, and dried fried chicken were all excellent. Super fresh fish. The soba was fine. Not as good as a soba house but kind of expected. Great service. I would definit...ely return again.

“No English but otherwise excellent”
we wanted a japanese meal for our last night into Furano and wandered into this place at 6.15pm, they warned us that there was no english menu and service would be slow but we ploughed on. comfortable seating where you didn’t need to fold up your legs! Eclectic menu which we had to google translate... and order via tablet. fresh large oysters, grilled scallops, grilled fish, clam fried rice, chicken and offal yakitori, soba, grilled spring chicken, grilled shrimp all washed down with ice cold beer and sake. don’t think we could afford an omakase in singapore for that price. great vibes as mostly japanese clientele, like an izakaya feel. Probably doesn’t rank well as it really doesn’t want to attract all and sundry but a great find.
