Sapporo Jingisukan Honten

北海道嘅另一個名菜就一定係 #成吉思汗烤肉，相傳係當年成吉思汗打仗嘅時候傳嚟嘅食法，喺札幌有好多鋪頭食成吉思汗烤肉，今次嚟到呢間本地人力推小店。將蔬菜同羊肉放上炭爐上面燒，羊肉雖然瘦但係食起嚟非常嫩同多汁，啲芽菜同洋蔥燒到招行再吸晒啲汁，配埋啤酒真係爽到呢！⁣ Another signature dish in Hokkaido is Jingisukan (aka Genghus Khan Barbecue). It is a grilled mutton dish prepared on a metal skillet. The mutton was super juicy and fl...avorful. Perfect to eat it on a cold day with a beer!⁣

On a snowy night the smell of the barbecued meat took me across the street and up to this wonderful place. Very cozy, has a nice atmosphere, great food, simple concept and worth every last yen I spent in there. Truly the culinary highlight of an amazing city.

I have been thrilled to try this dish since my day one arriving to Hokkaido, after reading the review i gave this place a try and it turned out to be a very awesome meal and experience! The big chef and staff were very friendly and as a solo traveller, it was a cozy welcome compare to anywhere else ...in Hokkaido where i hopped by for meals! The lamb was tender and carefully cut so very minimal fat! While i sat and grilled, the chef keep giving free meat on my grill! The atmosphere was also one of a kind, locating on the second floor of a small building with about 12 seatings! Grilled lamb and draft beer, would definitely recommend for meat lovers and vibers who love to seek new experience! Salute!

We went there 2 times during our trip in Hokkaido. Love the meat so much that we went to eat it again on the last night before we left. The boss gave us extra meat for free during our 2nd visit. They serve with good attitude even though the business is good. There is English menu available. Had trie...d Genghis Khan in another shop before and the meat here is indeed better. We didn't have to wait during the 2nd visit as we were there early around 6pm on a weekday. Price is reasonable. Will visit again if I return to Sapporo.
