“Lovely meal”
This restaurant is between the Goryokaku-Koen Mae Tram stop and our hotel. As such, walking past this place a few times, we decided to try it for dinner. Ordered the chauteaubriand dinner set as well as a roasted beef salad and tried the menchikatsu, a cutlet with beef filling. Enjoyed the lovel...y dinner which did not burn a hole in the pocket. Worth returning for another visit.

“Must get the wagyu”
Our toddler (1.5 yr old) lover the tender juicy hamburger meat and my husband really enjoyed the chateaubriand wagyu steak. If I could go back, I would order 2 of the wagyu steaks! Good value for the money.

“Very Delicious Hamburger and Steak 🥩”
Family/Children friendly on upper floors where it’s less smokey. We all love the juicy Hamburger and succulent steaks. Spaghetti 🍝 is a little sweet for the kids liking.

“Nice combination of great Wagyu and casual atmosphere”
The restaurant is near the tram stop Goryokaku-Koen mae, and directly across the street from the MyStays Hotel. The quick summary is: excellent Japanese beef at a very fair price. Seated at the counter, I could watch the two chefs trim the beautifully- marbled beef. After getting my 1l of ice cold ...beer, I ordered a salad and a nice beef cut, a Kuroge Wagyu Zabuton, 200g. There was an option to inexpensively add a hamburger, but another 200g would have been too much food, so I resisted. The salad was very tasty, really good. The Zabuton cut was exquisite, perfectly cooked and served on a hot skillet. There was pasta, and a wonderful slice of Japanese aubergine. What a great meal, and just the right amount for me. The service was very quick, good and friendly and the atmosphere was casual but with some energy, too. The menus are also in English. There is an outlet in Motomachi as well, called Beard Bar, and two more in Sapporo.

“Reasonable priced top quality Wagyu steak”
This steakhouse is located near the Goryokaku garden. It served hamburger but also has a menu of top grade marble Wagyu and Hokkaido Wagyu. The tables and seats were reasonably comfortable but do not expect a plush restaurant setting. We ordered a top grade marble ribeye Wagyu steak and a Hokkaido W...agyu Sirloin. Waitress did not ask for medium or medium rare at all. Steak was served on a hot cast iron plate. It was grilled medium rare with seasoning. The ribeye was superior and melted in the mouth. The seasoning was just right. For the price tag one cannot get a better deal elsewhere.
