We tried both Kobe and Wagyu beef and was not disappointed. No reservation was required and was able to sit down in shorts. However the experience was beyond expectations. Food, service, and staff were friendly and very helpful. Mouriya sincr 1885 has 5 locations and was told they each served ...same menu and pricing so no surprises. With so many places to choose from I feel this was a solid choice for the money. Yes it is pricey. For myself, wife and 9 year old grandson we spent over 100,000 yen. Was well worth splurging on ourselves.

This is not cheap place by any measure. It is expensive and worth every penny. The food was exquisite and as expected the meat quality is what you hope for from Kobe (there are several places that are expensive with substandard food quality and service).

Kobe beef experience cost around 20.000 yen but its worth it for a once in a life. They are good at there job so just enjoy the show and chill.

We came here after booking through My Concierge Japan and had a wonderful experience. Our chef was Kohei Tanaka and he was a skilled master at preparing and serving us Kobe beef. We opted for the rump set dining package, and found the starter, soup and salad delightful. The main course was your cut ...choice plus vegetables with rice or bread, followed by a hot beverage. Not only was it great value but an evening we'll always remember. A must visit if you want to sample Kobe beef in Kobe! Thank you again to Chef Kohei Tanaka, you are amazing!
