YAKINIKU ICHO Kyobashiten

I went to this restaurant because I saw their ad in the city guide stating “11-course meal with all-you-can-drink for 5,250 yen”. When I got there, the boy-host informed me that it’s not for one person. Nowhere in the ad does it state that you must be in a group. I ended up staying since it was near...ly 8pm and I was hungry. The menu is pricy with beef steak ranging from 2,600-5,600 so I opted for the less expensive pork at 1,250. I ordered two portions as I had a feeling one portion wouldn’t be enough; I was right. These are very small portions for the price. I should have gone to korean town for pork bbq instead. Tiny little room to myself was interesting, but the final price of 3,100 was definitely not worth the experience.

Dusty, dirty, depressing place with very average food (even the vegetables were of poor quality) Chinese staff in the kitchen. To avoid !

My family and I had dinner here one night on a recent trip to Osaka over the Christmas Holiday. The restaurant was quite close to our apartment on a side street near the hustle and bustle of Shinsaibashi Suji. We ordered 3-4 different cuts of meats. Very freshly cut and tender. The kimchi and other ...namuru (spinach, beansprouts, etc) were very good. The restaurant had lockers at the entrance where you need to leave your shoes and walk inside wearing your own socks. Inside the place looked like everyone had private rooms to dine in. The service was pleasant and efficient enough. A but pricey but worth it! :)

This is my first time to there and it is recommended by many people from internet forum. We made booking one week before. Not too many people because of week day. Food is good, many kinds of drinks, clean and easy to find. We ordered two beef sets for dinner including dessert. after we paid the... bill and left, we remembered that we forgot to have the desert. So disappointed for this.
