“Blood orange sorbet!”
This is an old fashioned Italian restaurant in the basement of an office building near the train station. It conjures the atmosphere well. Wine list a little disappointing as the Pinot Nero was sold out but we settled on a good bottle of Nebbiolo. Starters of sauri were delicious, pasta with bottarg...a very good but a little strange because of the addition of mixed vegetables. I’ve not seen that in Italy. Venison medallions were also expertly cooked but may have been steak. Blood orange sorbet and a good grappa a real treat.

“List in translation”
After our recent bad luck in a French restaurant we rgought we would play safer with this Italian - hiw wrong we were. Unless you can speak Japanese do not bother with this restaurant, you will definitely get the wrong food at the wrong time. It is also not cheap, be warned!

“Excellent Italian food, very friendly atmosphere!”
We visited the Osteria Gaudente during our trip to Japan. I could make a reservation from Germany via Facebook / Messenger. Food and wine were excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful.

“Great Italian in osaka”
I have lived is osaka for 25 years and often eat out. I found this restaurant last year and it's probably one of the best Italians in osaka in my opinion. The dishes are a little more expensive than the average around the corner Italians in Osaka, but not too high. An average of 4 or 5,000 yen incl...uding the wine.

“My favorite Italian place in Osaka”
I lived in Osaka for over a year and tried A LOT of Italian restaurants when I was there (I love Italian food). This place was hands down the best. It's pretty pricey, but they have a huge menu and the food is amazing. I loved every part of my meal. The service was great, in particular the chef the...re is awesome. He kept on checking in on us and asking how everything was. When we got there we had to wait ~5 minutes to be seated (I didn't make reservations) and everyone kept on apologizing for making us wait so long. All in all, a great place. Do yourself a favor, and eat here!
