“An experience that transcends the food. ”
An amazing experience in such a small space. Seats 9 at counter plus a small table. A couple work seemingly effortlessly putting out dishes made with precision and love. Watching them work together in such a small space was like watching a choreographed dance. Counter food available plus a set menu... although we chose a couple of dishes from the menu. Very authentic Japanese experience. We luckily fell across this place and would be easy to miss as very nondescript from outside. Highly recommend if you can find a seat.

“Small restaurant in the middle of Gion”
We discovered this restaurant by way of an error - we thought the place next door was a restaurant with a menu on the door but it turned out to be a gallery. Looking through the window next door we discovered Wabisuke. The place is tiny and has seating at the counter and one table. Dinner was a set ...menu (6 courses) for 5500 yen pp. Excellent food, mainly seafood but with very nice pork to accompany the rice as the last dish. Staff was very friendly and translated the main ingredients of the dishes in English. All in all very cosy, excellent service and ditto food.
