“Authentic Izakaya”

Makoya is a small but authentic izakaya with great atmosphere, a great place to be for Happy Hour or after dinner drinks. Most if not all guests are locals, and staff do not comprehend much English. Servers are friendly and accommodating. All menus are in Japanese, but luckily most items have mat...ching photos. Highly recommend the yakitori and fried dishes, which are delicious and great for value.
