This place felt like a total tourist trap, and I should have trusted the poor reviews online. From the moment we walked in, the staff was shockingly rude. We were immediately yelled at not to take photos—even though we were paying customers simply trying to capture the experience we came for: people... catching fish for their dinner. When we politely asked for clarification, the interaction remained unpleasant. As visitors from abroad, we brought our own bottled water (a common precaution), but we were told we weren’t allowed to drink it—even though they don’t sell bottled water and only offer free tap water. When we tried to reason with the staff, we were shut down. It made no sense—if the water is free anyway, why not let us drink our own? We canceled our full food order for five people, paid for the one soda and the required seating charge, and left. I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience was frustrating, unwelcoming, and completely illogical. I would not return or recommend it.

If it was possible i would give it 0 stars i mean the service was terrible. If you dont want tondo your job dont do it! Food 😷 beware of fishing they are sick i have photo proof… like fr the concept is nice but the execution is nowhere near a safe and healthy restaurant.

BEWARE! While it was a fun experience, we were totally scammed. Extra charges for "appetizers" we didn't order. When asked they said it was service charge, but that was how they code for it. We got water and it was 0 Yen, but upon check out it was 495 yen even though the item was "All Free". They do...n't give you an item receipt so be sure to take screenshots of your order online. Ordering was through QR only. While "fishing" we were rushed and then I didn't even get a video or picture of the experience. We won a 20% off coupon from from one of the game booths. Before being seated we asked if it was valid at the restaurant as everything was in Japanese. The host said yes. Yet, when checking out he said the coupon was good for cash only. I pointed out that was never said when we inquired earlier and he said it was fine he'd still give it to us. However, upon checking the screenshots of our orders , the amount was the same. So, be never intended to give us the discount anyway. Overall, we overpaid for a decent meal and an interesting experience.

It's a scam, never eat at this place. It wasn't at our plan to eat at this place, just came out from " TSUTENKAKU" passing by we saw good prices outside the menu and looked delicious by picture. At first we felt as if the waiters/waitress didn't wanted to take our table, Secondly they had a place w...ith plug but that didn't let us charge our phones even though we ordered around 40$ of food. At the table there was a small plate similar to Koreans "Banchan", we didn't asked for it, thought it was free. But when we pad the bill we had an extra charge for 1000 yen for "appetizer". They DON'T GIVE YOU THE BILL CHECK, Because they are used to SCAM tourist. NEVER NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE.

This place is a scam. The wait staffs are rude & charge foreigners extra “seating fee” or “table charge” for appetizers we never ordered. Beware. Even our Japanese tour guide tried to get $ back for us, as she agreed it was wrong, yet they refused.
