This place is a scam. The wait staffs are rude & charge foreigners extra “seating fee” or “table charge” for appetizers we never ordered. Beware. Even our Japanese tour guide tried to get $ back for us, as she agreed it was wrong, yet they refused.

Avoid this restaurant. Poor service with unreasonable charge for foreigners. Food are terrible and waiters are so rude. The worst restaurant I’ve ever met. I agree with all the bad comments of this restaurant.

It could have been ok, we decided from the start not to fish. But at some stage a rat made a run to go under a shelf. Once we freed the place, we saw an entire rat family running to that shelf and even climbing on the wall. I know there are rats in many places but I don't appreciate sharing my space... with them.

I was really excited to try the “fish for your meal” opportunity and that was pretty cool. There are fishing rods or nets to help you catch something, multiple cooking options, and a menu if you prefer not to fish. My main complaint is that communication here is terrible. You have to order through ...their terrible website and it barely loaded (no Wi-Fi offered). The servers barely explained anything and seemed rushed and annoyed if you asked them questions. It took me 3 times of asking to get a water. In sum, it wasn’t worth it. Go somewhere else.

They will ignore you and try so hard to scam you. They did that thing where they drop off a bunch of appetizers and then expect you to pay over 1k¥ for it. Very racist here too against Americans. We spent three hours here, most of it trying to catch a server. We couldn’t even order drinks. If you ...come here be prepared to be treated less than the locals. Stand your ground. Fishing is fun but the language barrier could be so difficult. Which is fine, I understand. Also watch out for what fish you catch. Some can be 2K¥ but others next to it could be 10k¥.
