“Would Give it a negative If tripadvisor allowed me to”
Please AVOID this restaurant at all cost!! Do not be scammed by its marketing gimmick. charged us 350 yen for a small dish saucer of vegetables. And they tried to double charge us for certain items causing the bill to amount to close to 10,000 yen. After checking the bill, item by item with the wait...er they refunded us 2,200 yen back. Food is bad and of no quality and standards. It is extremely tasteless. I would rather visit family mart. Please avoid!

“Pleasant Place, bad service for English speakers”
Had a lovely time trying to catch our own fish for lunch. Unfortunately with no luck. Staff did not guide us in how to catch what bait etc. Also found it very hard to get their attention to order extra drinks. When notifying the staff we were going to change order as we had not caught anything after... (1.5 hours as fish were not hungry). They looked annoyed. Nice gimmick but not really worth it it you don't catch anything. Restaurant does provide other meals on menu that you don't have to catch. Not happy with service but fun though.

“Delighting experience for your kids --eat what you catch”
We happened to walk by the restaurant as attracted by the big boat sign. Once we're in, the kids started to beg us having lunch here after they learnt that they could eat what they catch. Definitely not an easy process and at the end, my daughter had to get a fish net to scoop a fish (pretending sh...e fishes it :) We asked for shasumi and sushi with the catch. Can't comment too much on food quality as the fish was freshly caught and definitely tasted fresh. We did catch several small one to make tempura and the quality is OK. The place is not as clean as most Japanese restaurant though. I guess it's because of the fish pond being built around the restaurant and the water drip from the net while customer carrying their catch all around the restaurant made the floor is damped all over.... Staff are not super friendly compared to most restaurants we visited before. However, I have to say that our kids find it really part of memorable trip in Japan. I would not have done that without kids around. We spent 7655 Yen for family of 4 so still a reasonable price compared with home town.

“Dishonest restaurant. Cheating with prices.”
This restaurant is the most prominent on the street. The ship is inside, where you can catch the fish itself. We succumbed to advertising. You should cook the fish yourself. You bring the tile and you bring it to the desired degree of readiness. Dignity on this end and one "a small" lack of begins. ...The restaurant uses price fraud. Do not believe the prices on the menu. They're understated on purpose. The restaurant charges extra for service. Or rather for his absence - I cooked the fish myself. Probably for getting caught and carried to the table. It wasn't easy, I know. This is written in small print on the front page, which no one reads. These are the little crooks.

“Catch your fish and eat it in different days!”
We had a great evening out fishing first and then eating our fish. You get ‘bite + fishing lines ‘ and you need a little patience. We ate the fish have raw like sashimi. The other part was in tempura. We topped it up with other great dishes ! It was a great experience. Big fun for groups and family... with kids !
