Kurogewagyu Yakiniku Nikudokoro Kisshan Abenoten

My wife and I decided to splurge on our final night in Japan and what an experience it turned out to be. The premium cut A5 Wagyu beef literally melts in your mouth during our 1.5 hrs Yakiniku experience. My only complaint has nothing to do with the quality of the meat but rather the inability to pa...ir the choice cuts with a glass of red wine to complete the experience. We also found ourselves wanting to find out the cut of the meat we were having which would not have been an issue if we spoke Japanese. At $A120 per head, we reckon it was value for money for the quality of the experience.

Great meat restaurant, large variety and good prices. Just order and cook for yourself, no worry if it is cooked to your liking, because you do it yourself. Also had a variety of seafood. We had scallops and some different levels of sirloin and Wagyu beef which just melted in the mouth. The taste wa...s far better than I expected and I was completely impressed. Orders were quick and efficient, mainly because I was with Japanese speakers, I think it would still be OK if you had no Japanese, as you can point to the menu. We also had a bowel of cold noodles that were quite refreshing. Two of us washed our meal down with a nice, Chilean pinot noir which was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended for a meal after you visit the observation floors of the Abeno Harukas Building, because it is located on one of the dining floors in that building.
