“French Delight in Kyoto”
This French Restaurant was next door to my hotel Imu. I would highly recommend it. Food was amazing as was the wine and service. I’m from Sydney Australia using the waitress app. However, felt this was one of my enjoyable experiences in Kyoto.

“A real surprise ”
Staying at the Royal Park Shijo and needing an inexpensive lunch. Maybe a Ramen. Not a lot open so we looked at the menu outside which was a set dinner one ( no lunch) and a note saying no English spoken. There was a very nice young man who made himself understood and a lovely waitress who was very... pleasant and efficient. We had the 1600Y set lunch. A small but good green salad, a burdock soup that was excellent, a pork chop with nice vegetables, a hot liquid chocolate cake dessert and coffee. What a deal and it was all very good.
