Had their most expensive chateaubriand 33,800 yen. I'll start with the fact that this is a lovely restaurant with medium scale dining in mind. If you are after an upper class experience, this would not be my recommendation. 1. Firstly some small preparatory work was missed as they left a part of th...e fat cap on. When it's so tender and lovely to chew and then it becomes hard. The experience of a lovely cut becomes reduced. 2. The wasabi was poorly delivered. I'm not sure if maybe it was a different root then what is normally used, but it had lacking flavour which makes me think it wasn't freshly ground. 3. Soy sauce,salt and steak sauce were fine, delicate flavours and not overpowering. The fried mushroom and broccoli were my issues. The oily residue from the mushroom and broccoli stuck to my palette and ruined the delicate flavours of the meat.

Amazing service and incredible Kobe beef made a wonderful dinner experience for me and my husband on our honeymoon. It is a very cozy place and I cannot recommend it enough! :)

I was hoping to go to the one being raved on TripAdvisor, but the chef on the 18th called in sick and they were not in business, so i sadly turned the corner and stumbled into this place. Not bad for Kobe beef, a relatively tiny restaurant (unlike the ones in Sannomiya) with friendly staff and affor...dable price. Beef wasn't 100% lean but still acceptable.

We were wandering the streets among Chinatown then came across this restaurant. Since it was our first time in Kobe, we thought we should not miss having kobe beef. We went in and was seated promptly. At this point, the restaurant was at capacity. We ordered the Sirloin Kobe beef lunch special. At 1...5000yen each , it is not a cheap lunch, but when our first course arrived, we were blown away. The thinly sliced kobe beef was torched and you see the fat melting right before your eyes. Combined with sesame sauce, the whole beef just melted in your mouth, it was sooo good. The rest of the other dishes were just as good, from a salad to the main star of the shoe, the sirloin kobe beef. It was so good that we felt it was definitely worth the money. Highly recommended.

I will admit I entered this restaurant by mistake when I was looking for another one I had found on trip advisor. I got in and the staff was super nice and they had a lot of trophies and awards, so I decided to stay. The service was impeccable. The waiter was excelent, spoke very good English, and t...ook the time to explain every detail of the beef cuts and the side dishes (plastic model of the steak sizes included). I was on a bit of a budget so I went for one of their cheapest cuts, which was about 3.700 yen for 80 grams of beef, plus 800 yen for the set with rice, miso soup, pickles, and vegetables. They have cuts of beef going up to 200.000 and more, but you can get good meat for decent prices. I had never tried Kobe beef before, so I have nothing to compare it with, but for my novice palate it felt heavenly. The meat was incredibly tender, it melted in my mouth, and it tasted amazing. The side dishes were also delicious. The place was also very nice and the service was fast. I honestly enjoyed every moment since I stepped into this restaurant. I am happy that chance (and me being terrible with maps) brought me to this place. You should definitely give it a chance. It charmed me.
